We have had allot of new students starting and also good training days, during the week ground handling training and weekends flying. Last weekend we had 5 new student pilots doing their first flights and was this a exciting day, most of the guys and girls got 5 -7 flights doing forward launches and later on reverse.

Not all the flights were short, one new guys soared around for more than 1hr30 hours on the first day. This is not common but if the conditions are good the the student is confident, we let it happen.

This time of the year is good for training easy and light conditions and we can fly most of the day without it blowing out, like in the summer time.

Off late we have been flying at the training slope, Piketberg and Sir Lowry’s Pass, we have been having a good flying winter season.
