Martin Siegel and Birdmen group

Our group arrived yesterday during the day, while we were flying with Airzone.

Going out for a sunset dinner, with the views of the kite surfer and Clouded in Table Mountain in the back drop. We live in such a beautiful place, then a welcome briefing, and plans for the next few days.

Porterville looking good for two days, an early start, to arrive on takeoff in good time, others had the same idea, with clean launches, up, up and away, ski Bound, thermaling for the first climb before heading towards bumpy.

Bouncing against the inversion at 1100m, the air a bit ratty, some pilots high then low, following the lead gaggle, you push on. Finally climbing at bumpy to 1550m and over to Citrusdal they cruised, admiring the views below.

A few pilots stayed in front valley and landed in Rhnosterhoek, while the ones in the Citrusadal valley climbed to 2000m before landing between Citrusdal and Constriction due to the wind increasing.

A great first day for our group.
