Arriving in the Wilderness it was very light so we we went to Segde Field as it is a thermic site, it was ESE . We all took off a bit bumpy but with active flying we had a good time. With top landings and some good thermals, we flew there for the rest of the day, after flying enjoying some beers watching the sun set.

Wilderness was OK this trip, but not fantastic, we flew Sedge Field for the next two days, conditions a little side on, but good flying. We also tried to fly Buffels bay as the easterly picked up one day, very small coastal soaring site in strong conditions, I was the only one able to fly as it was on the limit almost no speed higher up.

Monday was very hot about 41 degrees, bergish. So we left the Wilderness early and headed home to fly Sir Lowry’s pass, we arrived there at 18h30 wind strong within 20 minutes wind was dieing 8 pilots took off within a few minutes and soared around until sunset, what a flight.
