Last day with Dutch Group Action Air Sports
March 5th, 2010 Posted in UncategorizedThe last day for our Dutch group before going home to the cold and wintery days.
Most places looking East, and not flyable, the only choise we had was Pieketberg, we arrived there with light thermals from the sun beating onto the east facing slope. We did a bit of trimming to improve he takeoff, then the guys prepared and it wasn’t long and we had our pilots getting well above the mountain, we had a height limit as it is in the Millitary air space, but we got permittion of 1600m asl, good enough for the days flying. The day turned out very good flying for a few hours, before packing up and the group getting ready to leave at 22h30 that evening, from paraglider to air craft.
We had such a good time with Action Air Sports, flying many different sites, lots of hours spent in the air and some good XC flying as well as fantastic coastal soaring, thanks to Robert Ronald and Angelique, Action Air Sports for your support and for the booking next year. We look forward to seeing you again.
