  Birdmen Paragliding is a great source for paragliding in Cape Town and the surrounding areas. Birdmen Paragliding is based in the Northern suburbs of Cape Town and is owned and run by Barry Pedersen. During his formative years, Barry spent many happy hours assisting his uncle pioneer hang gliding in South Africa. During a visit to Switzerland in 1996 he started paragliding and developed a true love for this artful form of aviation. In 2003, Candice, Barry’s wife joined Birdmen Paragliding. Barry is a qualified advanced pilot with well over 2500 flights, a SAPHA Instructor for Paragliding & Powered Paragliding. Barry is a qualified TFI Tandems Pilot for both power and mountain flying. So, if you have ever wanted to learn how to paraglide, or have the need to experience a tandem flight, or would like to safely fly Cape Town & surrounding area --- there is no better way to do it than with Barry and Birdmen Paragliding.   |
